Satoru Sato 6th Dan
Sato Sensi grew up Japan studying (martial arts) as a child. He began his study of Aikido with William Gleason Sensi from 1984 to 1996 at Shobu Aikido Boston then returned to Japan to study with Takeda Sensei at Shonan Aikido Kenkyu Kai and study fukeshu shakuhachi with Matsumoto Kyozan shisho for 6 months. Back in the US, he continued studying with William Gleason Sensei and Mitsugi Saotome Sensei. He established Shobu Aikido of the Berkshires in 1997, where he has taught students of all ages.

Angel Espinoza is the most senior student of our dojo. He has been practicing for 20 years under Sato Sensei.
